Kim is the leading lady of the Belgian skeleton sport. In her Olympic debut at the Youth Olympic Games in 2012 she represented Germany, where she was born. Having Belgian parents, she followed her roots and represented Belgium at the 2018 Winter Games. Although she has been at the highest level of the skeleton sport for over 10 years, she still has her best years ahead and is aiming for a first World Cup stage in the ’21 season. She is one of the strongest Belgian chances at a Peking 2022 Olympic medal.
